Active Ceramic DPFs are designed to remove High levels of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrocarbons (HC), some Nitrous Oxide (NOX), and High levels of Particulate Matter (PM) from Diesel exhaust systems.
These require high operating temperatures, more regular servicing and are generally larger diameters to allow sufficient gas flow.
Active DPF – Typical Analysis
Toxic elements are reduced by the below percentages
CO - 90%+
HC - 80%+
NOx - 5%+
PM - 95%+
