The previous muffler had rusted and lost effectiveness, so they approached the Flowtech team for assistance.
The task was to design a modern silencer that would not only reduce noise but also resist corrosion and last longer.
The Design Process
Our experienced team conducted a thorough noise level analysis and determined the most suitable silencer design for our client's needs.
Both decided to go with an absorption-type silencer, which would effectively reduce the sound produced by the generator. The selected materials were also chosen for their durability and resistance to corrosion.
After finalizing the design, we manufactured and sent it to the client for installation. The new fully welded Flowtech custom silencer was not only able to reduce noise levels significantly, but it also improved the overall performance of the generator.
